The Spotlight film box allowed scientists to expose film without a trip to the darkroom. This sell sheet flyer was created for use as a promotional information piece made available to potential clients, and handed out at trade shows. No photography was used, as the box was created as a 3d model to facilitate animated demos of the equipment. When a last minute logo change was required, the file was just reprocessed, rather than having to schedule and manage a complete photo reshoot.

Smudged Graphics provides a kind of external creative services department for Marathon Technologies, located in Littleton, MA. The image at right displays two 6 ft tall fabric "QuickScreens" that are used as trade show displays. Smudged Graphics also designs brochures, white papers, product spec sheets, web banners, email template graphics, and a variety of other visual projects for Marathon. 

Fabulous Finishes is the premier decorative and faux finish painter based in Westford, MA. Smudged Graphics created an identity for the company that brings a visual image to the tag line "Rooms that bloom with color and texture."

Angela Harkins was a realtor with one of the big national brokers, but wanted to go out on her own to offer her clients a better, more personal experience. smudged graphics created an identity for the new company, including a logo, open house and property signage, business cards, and a brand guide to manage it all.

The Blackhawk Network is the company responsible for the "walls" of gift cards we see in many stores in the US today. Graeter's Ice Cream is an upscale vendor based in Cincinnati, OH.

Smudged Graphics was contracted to do the gift card graphic design for the new Graeter's campaign.

Community Values magazine is a local advertising magazine, distributed to over 50,000 homes in an area of northeast Massachusetts. Smudged Graphics designs and manages the 80+ ads that appear in 2 issues of the magazine, 5 times a year.

In order to streamline the process and stay abreast of the status of each ad over the 3 week production time, a custom Filemaker Pro database was created. The database allows the tracking of each client, the history of any ads they've had in the magazine, and the status of each individual ad.

Once the ads are designed, they are entered into the database, where a customized pdf proof sheet can be output and emailed to the client.

AlphaCars is a preowned car dealer specializing in European luxury models. They wanted a high end look to their gift and loyalty card program. Smudged Graphics photographed many of their cars, and created the 3D spark plug model for the illustration.
