The Blackhawk Network is the company responsible for the "walls" of gift cards we see in many stores in the US today. Graeter's Ice Cream is an upscale vendor based in Cincinnati, OH.

Smudged Graphics was contracted to do the gift card graphic design for the new Graeter's campaign.

Community Values magazine is a local advertising magazine, distributed to over 50,000 homes in an area of northeast Massachusetts. Smudged Graphics designs and manages the 80+ ads that appear in 2 issues of the magazine, 5 times a year.

In order to streamline the process and stay abreast of the status of each ad over the 3 week production time, a custom Filemaker Pro database was created. The database allows the tracking of each client, the history of any ads they've had in the magazine, and the status of each individual ad.

Once the ads are designed, they are entered into the database, where a customized pdf proof sheet can be output and emailed to the client.
